Drum lessons are the most popular choice for percussionists starting out. This gives them lots of options as they progress.

​Percussion includes anything you hit, shake or scrape and is a large family of instruments. Lessons can start from age seven, and smaller sticks are available to buy if needed.

​Students learn to read music and develop listening skills as well as developing correct technique. Electric drum kits are popular at home as they can be used with headphones!
